Ken Rolfes

Ken Rolfes has broad industry expertise and a hands-on approach. He has more than 30 years experience in public and private companies that design, manufacture, and market technically based products for the medical device, industrial product and computer industries. He has extensive lean enterprise experience in general management, new product development, cost management systems, turnarounds, acquisitions and divestitures, and various financial transactions including IPO, private equity and venture capital financing.

Ken's Lean Business design methodology, combined with broad industry knowledge and global resource reach, enables companies to anticipate changes in customer priorities and the competitive environment, and then design their businesses and improve operations to seize opportunities created by those changes. Success in today’s globally competitive market requires a customer-centric rather than product-centric focus with a broad view of business opportunities. Winning requires a lean and dynamic organizational perspective on the current and future market environment, and most importantly, an emphasis on the driving factors in the business that creates value growth. A Lean Enterprise looks at strategy from a customer view point, finding strategic insight through a robust understanding of current and future customer priorities.
